Those ladies that work at the front desk are so RUDE! I took my dad in because he is 82 years old and yes he moves slow and can't hear very well and is somewhat confused, but that doesn't mean they need to be rude to him. he fought for our country and our freedom. He deserves to be treated with respect!
I'm a reservist and served since 1997. And they just told me they can't help me because I'm considered active duty.
All of the doctors and nurses I've encountered are awesome. They're professional and I feel that I'm getting excellent medical care. I do agree with other reviewers, the front desk ladies are quite inhospitable. If you don't like your job, move on.
When I first moved here I Jan 2014 , I came to the clinic to register, the receptionist looked at me with a frown on her face and qoate " what do you want" very rude. My first primary care doctor,Dr Knoma was well aware of my medical issues and aggreed with my Dr in Ft Smith Ar VA clinic. HE was transferred somewhere else and I was assigned a Dr Childrrs who immediately began lying to me as well as lying t a D he sent me to see who he also lied to him and was reported to patient advocates. Since that day and now with another primary care doctor, my health has went down hill. Now you can't see your primary care doctor only once every six months. I have told Dr's in Temple that I see regularly and been told to report this to patient advocates and write my congressman and tell them in detail on what os going on in this clinic as he said this is BS. I have told my primary care doctor about problems I was having and it goes in one eat and out the other. This clinic has to be the worst in the VA system.Very disappointed in the quality of care I have been given although I think the VA hospital in Temple has to be one of the best. Very satisfied with the quality of care at the hospital.
I have always found the clinic staff to be friendly and efficient. I've been going for many (many) years and have always been very happy with them. I'm honestly surprised to see the poor reviews.
