The brisket was good but the bun was not. It was a poor quality vendor supplied bun. They need to do something else with their buns.

Let me start by saying this is a nice, clean, updated casual restaurant. Friendly staff and good service.
The fries tasted like fish. I assume that's because they fry fish in the same oil. They need to use a different fryer for the fish.
Came back again and decided to alter my routine and got a two meat plate instead. I got brisket and sausage with fries and pinto beans for sides. In a word, AWESOME! The meat is great and I added some BBQ sauce for a little more spice. The fries are still the best anywhere and the beans are still just plain good. I also just realized how good the buns are. They are very filling and taste awesome.
The free refills on drinks are always appreciated.
I will go back and try the Ruben sometime.
Great, family friendly place with good food and good people. And a good way to get a taste of some of the best Texas BBQ. The brisket, pulled-pork, baked potatoes and fries are all very good. The chili is a bit spicy but nice. The loaded, baked potato (or smaller, new potatoes) with meat on top is really good and very filling. The fries are very seasoned and are probably the best fries among all the restaurants I have ever been to.
Great bar b que! Went twice: brisket poboy is smoky deliciousness. The Dipstick is the Texan french dip.
I ordered the chopped brisket sandwich with fries and a drink for lunch.
