Nastiest Bathroom women's bathroom EVER! No electricity for our heater when we tent camped in very cold weather. Manager didn't answer the phone when I attempted to call so we ended up having to sleep in our car.
I stayed at this place in September of 2015. The men's shower room had no water in the sink to shave with. The women's shower and restroom smelled so badly my friend had to use the men's shower while I stood guard for her. As far as quiet, this place is next to a busy highway with trucks going by all night long. I will surely not ever stay there again
Best place around for low prices. The manager is a smart and helpful guy. Lots of room for any small or big Rvs. Great place for a long or short stay. Quiet place to relax hang out and grill out with family or friends. Definitely coming back to this place.
I want to say that the manager was VERY nice when we arrived. He offered to let us borrow the converter so that we could camp in one of the RV spots instead of close to the restrooms. Only when when we got back from dinner and set up our tent in the dark in a heavy wind we discovered that nothing worked and we couldn't use the heater.
This place is quiet and peaceful. Stayed here 6 months with no problems. Manager is very respectful. Showers are clean and had laundry facilities. Also includes wifi. Very reasonably priced. Will definitely stay here again. Highly recommend staying here.
I had a 100' extension cord so I drug it across the driveway to the outlet outside the restroom that he had said we could use if we had chosen to camp there. That one didn't have any cover and it was so loose in the wall that I was almost afraid to plug in. The small space heater came on and then quickly went out. We were getting colder and colder and my sons tummy was hurting so I tried the manager again. This time it rang 4 or 5 times and then once again went to voicemail. I took my son back to the bathroom armed with a bucket which I used to get water to flush the nasty commode several times. That took care of some of the worst scent and then I sat outside while my son's tummy rebelled. Feeling bad that I was forced to leave him in unsanitary conditions. The sinks had a film of soap scum in them, the shower was moldy both inside and out with wads of hair on the floor. One corner of the bathroom had a huge wad of mud near the floor that I am assuming was a large mud dabber nest. Oh and a very dangerous condition - there were no covers on most of the electrical outlets there either. When we had to change I brought a roll of paper towels and used them to cover the floor that we had to stand on. We skipped the shower feeling that we would feel nastier after taking one than we did not.
Clean place and we'll managed. Staff is awesome
We climbed into our sleeping bags and tried to sleep. My son finally fell asleep in his warmer bag but I can't use the mummy type. I bundled up in my sweater, sleeping bag and a blanket and I was still cold. After another hour of the temps dropping and feeling angry that the power that I had asked about, wasn't working (I asked knowing that it would be cold and I had been assured would be available for my heater and for a few other items like my electric cook stove since I didn't want to mess with a fire in possible rain and with very limited time that wasn't scheduled for things with the group that we were meeting.) Also thinking about coming back from our fossil hunting adventure needing to shower in those conditions. I decided that we would not be staying the second night as planned. I then carried my son to the car and we both slept in the front seats so that I could turn the heater on throughout the night to keep us somewhat warm. We ended up having to pay for a hotel that we didn't really have the money for and I feel like that happened because I was misled.
Next we went to the restroom to take a warm shower and get ready for bed. I should have checked those before I did anything. The restroom looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a very long time. There were soaking wet towels on the floor in front of the shower that were moldy and gross. The smell of them was noticeable even over the other awful sent that reeked in the ladies room. My 8 year old son was afraid to even take his shoes off to shower and we decided to skip that and wash our faces, brush our teeth, pee and go to bed. There we 2 commodes and when he said that he wanted to use the men's room I told him that he couldn't it was locked but "look you have a choice of 2 commodes you can use whichever one you want" and I made the mistake of lifting the lid on the other one. The source of the horrendous scent was revealed in the mostly dried out crusty bowl. I attempted to flush the feces away in the hopes of lowering the awful scent only to discover that the water was turned off. There was no out of order sign or tape holding the lid down. I tried to call the manager and it went straight to voice mail. I didn't leave a message.
