Example: I needed a basic knee brace. Choice charged me the 20%/ $26.00. I looked up the brace online and I could have bought it out-right for the same money. EXACT brace. Then I checked what Medicare allows... $175.00 !!!!
Plus, they refuse to accept Medicare Assignment, meaning they insist you pay the 20% out of pocket. This may not seem unreasonable, but MANY national companies wave the 20% and accept whatever Medicare pays.
To be fair, there are some VERY nice people there, however, some of them seemed "bothered" that you walked in the door.
Choice is almost the only game in town for Medical Supplies through Medicare. Unfortunately, they know it.

Always courteous and professional. I prefer to pick up my supplies vs having them sent to me after the reminder call from the Abilene office, as they sent the incorrect items the one and only time I used that route. The staff in Brownwood are cheerful and helpful, I actually enjoy the visit!
