A horrible experience all around. We checked in and were given a key to a room that was already occupied. When I went back to the desk to get another room, the staff argued with me that it wasn't occupied. He finally gave in and said "people switch rooms and don't frickin tell us."
The room itself was disgustingly dirty. The shower curtain was full of mold. The room smelled of beef jerky. We had one towel to share for 4 people and it had burn marks on it. There were bugs on the beds. The door did not open or close correctly. The curtains didn't fully close.
First lemme say, the girl at the front desk, was incredibly friendly and professional. The Silver Fox Lounge was decent. The bartender was very nice.
Hotel from hell service was awful. Bed was crooked room was not clean smelled like cigarette smoke in a non-smoking room not a very pleasant visit. Found two roaches in the floor in the bathroom I kill them. Avoid Budget Inn if possible
NOW...when I first walked into the room, it was clean...run down a bit, but clean. I checked in about 3 pm. Watched some tv and napped for about 45 minutes. Showered and got dressed for dinner around 6pm. After dinner, went to the silver Fox Lounge and had a couple beers. Went back to my room at 930 pm. Layer down and watched television before bed. Closed my eyes around midnight-ish. I was awaken by cockroaches crawling ON me. Yes, actually ON me. Three of them. I came straight up out of that bed and went to sleep in my rig. Told the woman at the front desk this morning...and ALL I got was, "Well, I'll have to make a note about that"! Seriously, make a note? You could've returned my money or at least half of it! I didn't rent a motel room to be molested by Cockroaches. When I woke up and turned on the light....they were everywhere. Worst motel experience in my life. It's a shame too, because like I said, Everyone at the motel was very pleasant to deal with....except maybe the, "I'll have to make a note" lady. I'm afraid roaches spray won't help!
There are no amenities... No toiletries in the room, no phone, and the breakfast "buffet" was a joke. Only the bathroom light worked in the room. Other lamps and switches did not turn on.
Excellent shower pressure and hot water. Nice clean room. Great staff. Had some issues with AC not really putting out mich cold air but otherwise good.
(If I could, I would leave 0 stars) They aren't good with Maintenance on the appearance and within The rooms. The A/C units don't work half of the time, and when they do it doesn't do much. Our room didn't have a phone to call services when needed. They, and I quote, said "Eh, some do and some don't. We can't do much about it." The rooms are poorly put together and doesn't looked like they are cleaned daily. I'm terrified to step foot on the ground because of all the unknown stains. The TV is poor, and the screen is yellow? They don't have laundry services. The only thing good is that we left one ID card at the desk and they returned it. You get what you paid for. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone ever.
Pay a little more and stay somewhere else, you'll be happier.
